Beginner Program: Start being aware of what you eat. Strive
for lowering sugar, saturated and trans-fats in the diet.
Increase fruits and vegetables. Lower coffee consumption,
increase water. Start exercising- even just walking if
you have to. Increase intensity as you feel able. Start
your supplements with a good quality Multi-Vitamin
(not some cheap, poor quality Centrum or One-A-Day type),
and Essential Fat's. You can and
should add extra anti-oxidants like Grape Seed Extract
or Vitamin C, and Vitamin E.

1.)Multi-Vitamin/Mineral Formula: Choose a formula the optimizes health, not just prevents deficiency (such as those containing RDA amounts of nutrients like Centrum, One-A-Day, etc.)
2.)Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's): Healthy fats(Omega 3,6 & 9 fatty acids) are just as critical for health as vitamins & minerals. All cells of your body have fats as a major component, especially critical cells like neurons (brain cells). Most foods contain dangerous and unhealthy fats, like Trans-fats, Saturated fats, Hydrogenated Fats. Even many healthy foods often contain too much Omega 6 fats, leaving us deficient of Omega 3.
3.)Anti-Oxidants:
Extra anti-oxidants like Grape Seed Extract, Vitamin C
(fat and water soluble forms), Vitamin A, NAC, and ALA
provide extra compensation for the ravages of daily living(poor
diet, stress, alcohol, environmental toxins, etc.)
4.) Greens:
Take a vegetable/green foods powder if you can't eat 1
or 2 large salads every day, or make fresh juice to get
a generous supply of phyto-nutrients. Greens supply other
nutrients not found in typical multi-vitamin formulas
- such as Chlorophyllin, the most effective nutrient to
protect against gene mutation.
